In the end of 2013 “Corrocoat Caspian” LLP launched an anticorrosion coatings manufacturing and application facility in Almaty, Kazakhstan under the licensed technology of Corrocoat Limited, UK. Corrocoat has been operating for more than 40 years and have 38 operating offices worldwide. Among Corrocoat’s clients there are such giants as Сhevron, Shell, British Petroleum, Texaco, ExxonMobil, Esso, AirLiquide, etc.
Currently we are the only manufacturer of high quality anticorrosion coatings in Kazakhstan.
All of our coatings manufactured in Kazakhstan have ST KZ certification with high local content over 70%, as well as Certification from the Ministry of Health for the use of our coatings in portable water industry, since they are environmentally safe.
Our high technological coatings are based on own know-how technologies, and can be applied in different areas such as O&G, petrochemical, mining, marine, construction, as well as in potable water industries.
Coatings like Polyglass VE, Polyglass VEF, Polyglass 100, Zipcoat, ZIP E, Corroglass 600 series, manufactured in Kazakhstan, are highly resistant against chemical, erosion and different temperatures, have low permeation rate, high abrasion and cathodic disbondment resistance. The structures covered with our coatings have long service lives and can be in operation more than 30 years, without technical repair.
These products are used throughout the industrial world, to protect components as diverse as process vessels, high pressure vessels, oil storage tanks, acid pickling, ballast, effluent, fresh water, settlement tanks, water treatment and underground fuel storage tanks, pumps, filters, pipelines, manifolds, jackets, risers, separators, structural steel and concrete flooring.
Corrocoat Caspian provides full range of grit blasting, surface preparation, coating application and refurbishment works of various equipment. These works can be done at our Almaty facility as well as at the customer’s side, by own staff trained in Corrocoat’s Head Office in Leeds UK.
Our fully integrated packages cover initial assessment and recommendations on the repair and protection of the structures, manufacture and supply of materials, application, comprehensive reporting system guaranteeing total control over performance, quality and safety at all stages, inspection by qualified personnel.
Supplies of our services and materials have already started to Tengizchevroil, North Caspian Operating Company, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V., Petro Kazakhstan Oil Products, KazGerMunai, Pavlodar Refinery, MangistauMunaiGass, subsidiaries of uranium KazAtomProm and many other companies.
Our production facility and service workshop are located in Alatau village of Almaty. We are planning to have the full service offices in Atyrau, Aktau and Astana as well.
